If you’re in the mood for action, you shouldn’t miss this half-day excursion – not for the faint of heart or if you’re afraid of heights.
Ziplines are rope connections between two points at different heights for crossing rivers, gorges or, as in our case, the jungle.
Our trip starts at two times, one in the morning and one at 1pm, and it includes four ziplines. One of them starts from a height of 150 feet and with a length of 0,6 miles is the longest zipline here in the Riviera Maya.
After being picked up from the hotel, we drive about 45 minutes south to then change to the ATVs and drive into the jungle.
Part of this excursion is also a ten-minute introduction to a Mayan ceremony and, at the end, a 20-minute swim tour in a cenote with an underground river.
In the cenote you will learn more from the guide about these limestone caves of the largest cave system in the world and what the Mayan rituals and their sacrifices were all about.

What does this excursion include?

The price includes pickup and drop-off at the hotel lobby in an air-conditioned minivan, entrance fees, taxes, an English-speaking guide, insurance, Mexican snack and a good mood.
Drinks are not included with the meal at the end of the tour.

Recommendation:

Please bring enough money with you for personal expenses such as souvenirs or drinks.
We have drinks in the minivan, but it is still advisable to carry 1 liter of water with you on any tour.
Don’t forget your swimwear and
NEVER APPLY SUN CREAM BEFORE THE TOUR OR ONLY BIODEGRADABLE !!
In the freshwater cenotes on the Yucatan Peninsula, strict attention is paid to the water quality, because some of this water is still drunk.
The chemicals used in traditional sunscreen destroy corals and are harmful to marine life. Therefore, sun protection is no longer allowed in Mexico in many natural parks of the Riviera Maya and also on Cozumel.
