Chichen Itza on the Yucatan peninsula is, along with the much more distant Aztec pyramids, with around eight thousand visitors a day, the most popular tourist attraction in the country.
It is here that the great phenomenon of light takes place during the equinox when the serpent god descends as a shadow on the pyramid.

Course of the Chichen Itza, Valladolid & Cenote Day Tour:
Because of the two and a half hour drive, this excursion cannot be combined with other excursions.
After being picked up in the morning at the hotel lobby, we drive directly to Chichen Itza.
After the professional tour and lunch afterwards, we visit the former Spanish colonial city of Valladolid on the way back.
Finally, we will refresh ourselves in the well-known Cenote Ikkil, at dusk we will be back in Playa del Carmen.
What does the excursion include?
The price includes pick-up and drop-off at the hotel lobby in an air-conditioned minivan for 20 people, admissions, taxes, english speaking guide, insurance, lunch buffet and good mood.
Not included: drinks at the lunch buffet, tips for tour guides are optional.
Recommendation :
Please bring enough money with you for personal expenses such as souvenirs or alcoholic beverages.
We have drinks in the minivan, but it is still advisable to carry 1 liter water with you on every excursion when you enter the archaeological sites.
Headgear is recommended, temperatures are higher in Chichen Itza and there is often no wind.
It is advisable not to go on tour with flip flops.
